  • 緑(みどり)萌(も)ゆる took me some time until I understood. It is not one word, but TWO words. The first is 緑(みどり) - "green", and the second is the old form of 萌(も)える (ゆる sound changed to える in modern Japanese). Note that 燃(も)える is "burn", "blaze", "be aflame", "burst into flames" and 萌(も)える is "sprout", "bud", "burst into bud".
