As in Operation Wolf, the Japanese in this game tends to be concise, much like newspaper headlines. Hence, sometimes particles will be omitted. As is fitting for military instructions, the game frequently uses the plain imperative form, which is uncommon in normal speech.

The kanji 不 is a typical way to form negatives in kanji compounds, though you can't use it with every compound. It's analogous to the "im" in "impossible". (In this case, the positive form would be {{gloss|可能|かのう possible}} rather than just 能, but that's not true of all 不 words.)
