* Literally, in Japanese it is "where the baby seems to want to go". The Yoshis cannot know what the baby wants, they can only observe he ''seems'' to want to go intro a certain direction. Grammatically, it's taking the stem from たい (want) and adding がる, a helper verb referring  to an emotion or thought of a third party (seems to).
