Bugs
- If two people edit the same section of a page at the same time (or one user edits the same section twice from two tabs), the edit conflict will be detected and apparently handled correctly but it will print a bunch of warnings. (This is due to our custom attempt at making up for MediaWiki's lack of support for PEAR's diff3 engine.)
- Galleries do not work (example).
- Pages for images throw up warnings. (example).
- The "Run Japanese fixer" footer shouldn't show up when uploading files.
All of these could be resolved by moving to a different host, but let's not jump the gun on that decision...
Proposed features
- Sentence-level editing could be adapted into allowing block-level editing.
- A more WYSIWYG editor for adding glosses.
- Mass upload of sounds and images
- Better mouseover popups for more readable glosses.
