Welcome to Learning Languages Through Video Games, or LLTVG for short, where we host heavily annotated and translated script dumps and transcripts of video games! We don't have very much right now, but you're always free to add new games or expand upon what we have...
Our current focus tends to be on classics from the 8-bit and 16-bit eras, but this is likely to change as more games are added.
Finished games
These translations are, to the best of our knowledge, 100% complete.
Almost finished games
- Super Mario Bros. 3 - just a couple of blanks need to be filled in and some things clarified
- Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose! - all the text is ready, but many translations are still missing
WIP games
Games whose translations still have a ways to go. A few have not been started yet, but are planned to be started soon.
- Metal Gear - all the text is ready, but little has been translated
- Star Fox
- Super Mario World
- Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
- Zelda 3 (神々のトライフォース / A Link to the Past)
- Zelda: Ocarina of Time (ゼルダの伝説、時のオカリナ)
Wish list
These are games we're not starting yet, but would like to add eventually...
